Interrupting a ski run - a photo on Flickriver

            The spray from the snow blower partially obscures the bulldozer as WSDOT clears the road to Artist Point on April 21, 2015. Crews began clearing the last 2.7 miles of SR 542 the day before, after the Mount Baker Ski Area closed for the season. A ski and snowboard run crosses this section of highway; tracks from the final day of skiing still are visible above the blower. Crews hope to open the road in early May, if the weather cooperates.
