Naxi Stir-Fried Pancake (丽江纳西炒粑粑)

            Brekkie on Christmas Day in one of the many eateries littered within the Old City of Lijiang. I believe the shop is called "88号小吃店".

The day before we had the 'Ba Ba' or Pancake as it was. It seems that the locals also stir-fry the chopped up pancakes with fermented beans, chillies and meat. Both myself and my mate actually preferred this version. It is still oily, but a lot more fragrant. There is the alluring aroma of the wok as well as the musty beany and salty fragrance of the fermented beans. 

A couple of other things we ordered had ran out to our disappointment, but I guess this was one saving grace.
