Neverland - a photo on Flickriver

Neverland

            This is my third solo trip to Norway, and I would like to hike and backpack the beautiful mountains of Norway.
During my trip, it was raining almost every day and trail was extremely slippery.
On my way down from this beautiful mountain, I slipped and had broken both of my left foot ankles. It was like a dream after.

1. I was carried down the mountain by two valiant hikers I ran into.
2. An ambulance took me to the Leknes hospital, and transferred me to another hospital.
3. They then took an Xray.
4. No surgeon was available in the local hospital, so I had to be transferred to another by plane.
5. Airplane took me to another city Saturday evening and there was a surgeon waiting for me at the Bodo hospital
6. I got my first surgery done.
7. I was in need of another surgery when my swelling had been reduced in 7 days.
8. With my Norwegian friend's help, I safely got home and had a second surgery done back in the golden state of California.

I would like to thank to all the people who helped me during this incident, through good and bad moments, we went through together, making us stronger by each movement. The two hikers who valiantly helped me, grew in there kindness with each hard stride they took carrying me down the treacherous mountain scape. Who knows where I would be and what condition I would be in right now for not of these brave people, but it wasn't just these 2 hikers; it was everybody who aided me along the way, so I would like to give a hearty thank you to all that have been kind and hopefully it will come back to you.
