Seaside garden of Galle Face Hotel with a dining terrance in Colombo

            Galle Face Hotel is one of the best old hotels in Colombo. The checkerboard dining terrace becomes very romantic at sunset. It was named after Galle Face Green to the north of the hotel. Galle Face Green was named because it faces Galle Road that connects Colombo and the port city of Galle to the south.
