Goodbye volcano

This is my final photo in the Volcano set. On our way back from the eruption site, driving over the glacier, we stopped for a few minutes.... which gave me an opportunitiy to jump out quickly and take this photo :)
Notice the lights at the bottom and the two light trails to the left and right of the volcano....Those are cars (4x4 trucks of course! :) driving by, driving back home.....

Volcano in the distance, northern lights and stars in the sky... such a wonderful trip it was!

21.march 2010 a Volcano eruption started in the highlands of Iceland, or between two glaciers; Mýrdalsjökull and Eyjafjallajökull.

My father who owns a truck with 38" tires, took the whole family (mom, my siblings and spouses) to the eruption site in two separate trips (since we can´t all fit in the car at once:).

On saturday 3.april 2010 I went on an volcano adventure trip, driving over the glacier to see this wonderful force of nature!

This is not the eruption that is sending ash all over Europe and stopping all the flights. This is a "smaller" and much different eruption that started on 21.march and was finished around 11.april.
