Mésange charbonnière, great tit - a photo on Flickriver

La mésange charbonnière est très grégaire, vivant et se nourrissant en petits groupes avec d'autres mésanges, en dehors de la période nuptiale. Elle bouge aisément sur le sol, sautillant parmi les herbes. Moins agile que les autres mésanges, elle passe beaucoup de temps par terre. L'hiver certaines de celles qui vivent en zones rurales partent à la recherche de nourriture vers les jardins.

The great tit is very gregarious, alive and feeding in small groups with the other tits, outside bridal period. It moves easily on the ground, skipping among herbs.
Less agile than the other tits, it spends a lot of time on the ground. The winter some of those who live in rural zones search for food towards gardens.
