            We had a storm last night and I think that the local wildlife had a bit of a rough night.  I noticed this little ball of fluff in the rather delapidated old 'house' we put in the back garden years ago to shelter any critters that needed it.  It seemed to serve well as a temporary shelter for the little bird during the morning. 

Mom and Pop bluejay were always close at hand, so we put out a little wild birdseed far enough not to disturb the little one.  By the afternoon they had all gone back into the reserve behind the garden.
