            De nieuwe fietsenstalling bij Amsterdam Centraal is afgelopen donderdag in gebruik genomen. Het is een enorme kelder die onder water ligt en waar 7000 fietsen kunnen worden gestald. Je loopt met je fiets naar beneden over twee lange rolbanen en komt weer naar boven via twee trappen. Of je loopt door een ondergrondse tunnel naar het metro- of treinstation. Het is een mooie aanvulling op dit reeds enorme knooppunt voor openbaar vervoer.

Bike Basement

The new bike parking at Amsterdam Central Station has opened. It's a huge underwater basement that can house 7000 bikes. You go down with your bike over two long travelators, and emerge back up over two flights of stairs, or walk to either the subway station or the train station through an underground tunnel. It's a really cool new addition to this already enormous public transportation hub.
