Iguana iguana
Van oorsprong leeft de groene leguaan in Midden-Amerika, Zuid-Amerika en de Caribische eilanden. Daar wordt deze hagedis ook wel Iguana iguana genoemd. De groene leguaan staat bekend om zijn goede klimkunsten, maar ook als zonaanbidder. Met zijn scherpe klauwen klautert de leguaan in bomen en struikgewassen, waar hij een zonnig plekje opzoekt om in volledige rust te genieten van de zon.

Iguana iguana
Originally, the green iguana lives in Central America, South America and the Caribbean islands. There this lizard is also called Iguana iguana. The green iguana is known for its good climbing skills, but also as a sun worshiper. With its sharp claws the iguana clambers in trees and shrubs, where it finds a sunny spot to enjoy the sun in complete tranquility.
