La tumba de Zoser (2650 a. C.) - a photo on Flickriver

            En la necrópolis de Saqqara (Menfis) se encuentra la pirámide escalonada, que según Manetón fue construida por el arquitecto egipcio Imhotep (el primer ingeniero y arquitecto de la Historia). Es anterior a las famosas pirámides de Guiza. El faraón Zoser (III dinastía) la mandó construir para albergar allí su propia tumba. En la actualidad se puede acceder a su interior.
