G-BBDK Vickers Viscount 808C @ Bournemouth, Oct 1985

            Built in 1958 and delivered to Aer Lingus as EI-AJK. Converted at Prestwick to cargo configuration in 1967 still operating for EIN. It was leased in Nov 1969 to SATA then Air Tourisme and reg'd HB-ILR. It was returned back to Aer Lingus in 1972 and sold to Overseas Aero Leasing in the UK registering as G-BBDK. After a short lease to Nor-Air it was sold to Air Bridge Carriers by mid 1974. After a short lease to Dan Air during 1975 it was wfu at EMA by 1977. Sold onto Southern International by early 1980. After ceasing operations, it was stored at Stansted from 1981 before being sold to British Air Ferries by Sep 1983. In 1993 BAF were renamed "British World Airlines" and was used on the Parcel Force services in the infamous red colour scheme. This was re-reg'd G-OPFE in Oct 1994. After a wheels up landing in Mar 1996 at Belfast the aircraft was written off and subsequently scrapped.
