Wings of Glory by Adrian Landon - a photo on Flickriver

Between April - October 2022 Chatsworth parkland has played host to 12 sculptures from the USA Burning Man festival. This is normally held annually in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert.

The UK exhibition features 8 original Burning Man sculptures and 4 new works created on site with the help of visitors, local community groups and a school over the course of the year. This process also happens in the U.S.

Wings of Glory took 3 months to build with a wingspan and height of approx. 35 ft. It's made predominantly from laser-cut welded steel and hand hammered aluminium. It also has a motor which powers the wings and makes them flap whilst the horse appears to gallop.

Adrian Landon comes from Reno, Nevada. This sculpture of a Pegasus like horse was unveiled at the 2019 Burning Man event in the Nevada.
