The reason for going to Norway! - a photo on Flickriver

            After all the heavy stuff from my last 4 posts, something more serene and tranquil from again Scandinavia, this time Sweden.

It took me 30 years to decide I should go to Norway. One of my friends from childhood is now living in Skövde and during a May vacation he took me to this wonderful spot on the west coast of Sweden, north of Gothenburg. 

Rocky hills, formed by glaciers in ancient times are interspersed with villages and in every suitable spot a house has been built. 

This evening I decided to go, after seeing this, and knowing there should be more stuff like this in Norway. I already had forgotten I had this one.
