Daydreaming, multiplied - a photo on Flickriver

            I randomly wound up going down a 1940s goth fashion rabbit hole recently. I've known a little about 40s clothing for a while, but it was not a decade I'd spent a lot of time with specifically. I'm kinda really into it at the moment though, and this might be the beginning of my 1940s goth femme era lol. So here is my 1940s-inspired goth mermaid, having a sweet daydream about somebody. I like to imagine she's listening to Glen Miller - In The Mood. 

I couldn't decide between color and black and white. I did a lot of work assembling the color story in the first one, between the look, the lighting, and the photo itself. But, you know.. 1940s. Black and white photography, TV, and movies were the primary thing you saw back then. So when I was editing, I had to ask myself... what if black and white? And so began my inability to choose lol. It does really seem to suit the image. But I'm a ho for color. So.... ‍‍*shrug*
