I’m certain these are all just stock photos, but they’re still cool

SET 2 – Crossgates Kroger

There’s a decently large support pole near this area of the store, and in hindsight, I’m beginning to think I unintentionally captured one of the braces marking the transition of the original salesfloor to the expanded portion – there definitely appears to be a small demarcating line in the ceiling in this spot, too. But that wasn’t the purpose of this image… instead, I just wanted to photograph all the local flair photos affixed to the pole. In addition to the Brandon Bulldogs mascot we saw over in the dairy department and a generalized map showing Brandon, other scenes highlighted include the Brandon Amphitheater (great venue!), the Pearl Street Historic District, the Rankin County Museum, the Rankin County Courthouse, and a skyline photo of the capitol building in nearby Jackson. I’m not able to easily identify the building on the water in the bottom left pic (should I be?), but the bridge photo two above that is quite interesting: turns out it’s the Rosemary Road Bridge, built sometime around 1950 but closed in 2009. (That one took a minute to research!)
