Rheine 1977 september DB 042-186

            Rheine is het allerlaatste stoomlocomotief depot van de toenmalige Deutsche Bundesbahn. Maar ook hier is het einde nader en op 10 en 11 september 1977 is er een groots Dampflok Abschiedsfest  in Rheine. Veel extra's met spoorliefhebbers uit Duitsland en Nederland rijden naar Rheine dat week einde oa DB 042-186 met extra stoomtrein hier langs de perrons. Chaos overal, meer voor de sfeer dan de mooie foto's moet je er bij zijn bovendien regent het zo nu en dan. Met lichte heimwee even terugkijken.

Rheine was the last steam depot for Deutsche Bundesbahn in West Germany. On 10 and 11 September 1977 with large celebrations and many steam extra's from all over Germany and some from The Netherlands many railfans made a last visit to this unique steam depot. DB 042-186 with one of the steam extra's that week end in rainy weather.
