Raptor in the garden DSC_0560 - a photo on Flickriver

            Every single time one of these beautiful hawks flies into my yard, my heart races just a little bit as I witness their grace and beauty.  I was actually washing dishes when this one caught my eye through the window.  Of course I had to scurry over and grab the camera from my comfy couch to snap a shot or two.  I could tell this beauty was not my frequent visitor because he left after a couple of snaps.  The one that frequents the yard just looks annoyed at me when I pick up the camera regardless if I am inside or out.  However, he seems to know I will only take a few snaps then leave him alone to do his thing.  That is unless my bluebirds have fledglings, that's a different story altogether.
