66613 Downham Market 24/02/24 - 6M88 1325 Middleton Towers Fhh to Crewe Bas Hall S.S.M.

            Freightliner 66613 coasts along the West Anglia Main Line at Fairfields level crossing, Downham Market on Saturday 24th February 2024. This loaded sand working from Middleton Towers to Crewe Basford Hall had been the final target of the day along the Hereward Line between March and Whittlesea. However, the incoming arrival into Middleton Towers was 35 minutes late and this impacted on the 6M88 departure, eventually leaving the Norfolk terminal 82 minutes late. As a result, the opportunity to capture this on the way home presented itself, arriving just in the nick of time!
