153030 / NE-101 McDonnell Douglas F-4N Phantom II cn 1557 US Navy. USS Midway - San Diego 22Feb19

            Seen on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Midway at San Diego in California. In the markings of VF-21 'Freelancers'

Delivered to the USN as a F4H-1 and redesignated to a F-4B in 1962. Later converted to a F-4N.
I saw it at MCAS Yuma on 13Oct78 flying with VMFAT-101 coded SH-37.
Converted to a QF-4N drone as number 145. Flown from NAS Point Mugu to NAS North Island on 25Aug04 and this was the last flight by a Navy F-4. Positioned on the USS Midway on 07Dec04.
