Another World - a photo on Flickriver

Another World

            Looking out onto the otherworldly landscape of Moonscape Overlook in Utah as the Milky Way rises overhead.

I was visiting Utah recently and really loved this area. I really wanted to get the Milky Way at this location and it does line up perfectly at this spot, but unfortunately while I was there the moon was rising at the same time as the Milky Way and would have completely washed it out, so I decided to do a composite image of this location. I captured the Milky Way a couple of days later at the Grand View Point of Canyonlands National Park.
