Huntsman on the Prowl - a photo on Flickriver

            Probably a Brisbane Huntsman (Heteropoda jugulans) male found wandering in a bathroom in my Gold Coast hinterland home. These large spiders (body length 25mm; legspan about 800mm) are very fast hunters but harmless to humans  despite  common fearfulness about them.
