43046 - Nottingham Midland - a photo on Flickriver

            Throwback Thursday No. 41 - A scene unrepeatable today...not only have HSTs now disappeared from MML services, but the spot on which the HST stands is now below the enlarged platform, which was extended out to meet the alignment of the adjacent line in order to make the former Platform 4a into a West-facing bay whilst not reducing through platform capacity.

The train has not long arrived from London St. Pancras and sits under a gloomy Notts sky.
