Praia da Caparica 🇵🇹. Una casetta in paradiso! (Archivio 2003)

            Fino a un paio d’anni si accedeva al lido di Costa da Caparica (Setubal) per mezzo di un trenino 🚂 a scartamento ridotto che si fermava alle stazioni di questo lungo tratto di costa sabbiosa. Mi informano che questa peculiarità è stata soppressa e adesso ci si accede con l’auto (che orrore !!). Peccato, peccatissimo.

Up to a couple of years, the lido of Costa da Caparica (Setubal) was accessed by a small-gauge train 🚂 which stopped at the stations of this long stretch of sandy coast. I know  that this peculiarity has been eliminated and you can access now by car (what a horror !!). What a huge shame.
