Noisy Miner

A Noisy Miner (Manorina melanocephala) on the grevilleas from our backyard. We do not see many in our yard but very occasionally.

Noisy Miners aggressively attack larger birds such as hawks and kookaburras. These attacks may be so vigorous that most other birds are excluded from an area occupied by Noisy Miners.

Captured with the Nikon D810 camera and Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6E lens.
