MRCE 185 + Kesselwagenzug/Ketelwagentrein/tank car train - Golm

            Één van mijn lievelingslocaties is de "dam" tussen Golm en Potsdam Wildpark West. Hier ligt de spoorlijn over een lengte van een paar 100 meter op een zes meter hoge verhoging. Dit biedt vele mogelijkheden voor, ook onder andere voor foto's die na zonsondergang gemaakt worden. Op 5 februari 2020 speelde het weer weer mee en waren er, laat in de middag, nog een paar wolken aan de hemel gekomen. Ongeveer 20 minuten nadat de zon was verdwenen, zorgde een MRCE 189 loc met een sleep ketelwagens ervoor, dat ik niet voor niets in de kou had staan te wachten....

Eine Stelle wo ich immer wieder gerne hingehe, ist der Bahndamm zwischen Golm und Potsdam Wildpark West. Auf einer Länge von ein paar 100 Meter läuft der Berliner Außenring hier auf einer gut sechs Meter hohen Erhöhung. Dies bietet den ganzen Tag sämtliche Möglichkeiten Eisenbahnbilder zu machen. Früh morgens (vor Sonnenaufgang) und Abends nach Sonnenuntergang kann man die Wetterstimmung auch super mit im Bild integrieren. 
Am 5. Februar 2020 hatte ich Glück dass es am Nachmittag noch ein paar Quellwolken gab und der Himmel deswegen nicht wolkenlos war als die Sonne verschwand. 20 Minuten nach Sonnenuntergang sorgte dann eine MRCE 189 mit Kesselwagenzug dafür, dass ich nicht umsonst in der Kälte ausgeharrt hatte...

One of my favorite locations on the 125 kilometer (or 78 mile) long Berlin outer ring is the strech between Golm and Potsdam Wildpark West. Here the tracks are elevated and this provides loads of possibilities. It is especially nice before dusk and after dawn (although you do need some luck with the weather). 
On February 5th 2020 I was lucky, seeing that there were scattered clouds with just about enough room for the sun to create a beautiful atmosphere. An MRCE class 189 engine, headed south with a tank car train came at the right time (which meant that I hadn't waited in the cold for nothing)...
