DB ICE-3 Amsterdam - Köln - Utrecht Blauwkapel

            Aufgrund von Bauarbeiten auf der Linie Amsterdam und Utrecht in September 2002, mussten die Personenzüge über Hilversum umgeleitet werden. Dies bot mir die Möglichkeit den ICE mal an einer Stelle zu fotografieren wo diese normalerweise nie fahren. Im Bild ist ein ICE unterwegs gen Köln Hbf und hat bei Blauwkapel bereits Utrecht erreicht. 

Door werkzaamheden tussen Amsterdam en Utrecht in september 2002, moesten de reizigerstreinen via Hilversum omgeleid worden. Dit bood mij de mogelijkheid op 15 september 2002 om eens een ICE te fotograferen op een plek waar deze treinen normaal gesproken niet komen.
Op de foto is de ICE naar Köln Hbf net te Utrecht Blauwkapel afgebogen richting Utrecht CS.

Because of work being carried out on the main line Amsterdam - Utrecht back in September 2002, all passenger trains had to take a detour via Hilversum. This provided me with an opportunity to get a shot of a highspeed train where one would normally see one. Seen here in the shot from September 15th 2002 is such a highspeed train, running from Amsterdam to Cologne near Utrecht Blauwkapel.
