Mallard (Anas platyrhynchos) Drake - a photo on Flickriver

            I usually think of mallards hanging out in park ponds getting fat on bread humans feed them.  This Drake and his mate were in a small spring fed pond along an old logging road.  About 5000 feet altitude.
