St Peter's Into The Blue - a photo on Flickriver

            A alternative angle looking upon St Peter's Basilica as the day turns to night. This shot was taken from alongside the River Tiber on Ponte Sant'Angelo and shows the light of the Vatican and Rome begin to come on as we enter the blue hour. I always find it interesting how when there are no clouds in the sky there tends to be a very pronounced two tone colouration as the Sun sets which to me gives a sensation of looking to a sky from another World.
