Steam locomotive No. 822 'The Earl' hauls a GWR mixed train towards the the summit of Golfa bank on the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway.

            With a nice clean exhaust but using every ounce of its tractive effort, steam locomotive No. 822 'The Earl' built by Beyer Peacock at Gorton, Manchester during 1902 hauls the replica Pilkington coaches an open wagon and brake van up towards the summit of the 1 in 29 Golfa bank with the 13:15pm departure from Welshpool Raven Square, on the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway, Cymry/Wales.
