Écureuil d'Eurasie ou Écureuil roux ( Sciurus vulgaris)

            L'Écureuil roux est arboricole. 

On le trouve donc à proximité des bois et dans les forêts, notamment dans les forêts anciennes où il mène une vie individualiste, marquant ses itinéraires de repères olfactifs qu'il semble être seul à reconnaître, et cachant des stocks de graines ici et là. 
Il ne perd son aversion pour ses congénères que lorsque la nourriture abonde, comme dans certains parcs.

The red squirrel is arboreal. 
It is therefore found near woods and in forests, especially in ancient forests where it leads an individualistic life, marking its routes with olfactory landmarks that it seems to be the only one to recognize, and hiding stocks of seeds here and there.
It only loses its aversion to its congeners when food is plentiful, as in certain parks.
