Nevis Range. Snow, snow, let it snow, an almost surreal winter wonderland.

            Commentary.

Scotland has the wonderful capacity of presenting
mesmerising scenes in each and every season.
Here, in late winter, the reflected gleam off the upper slopes of Aonach Mor mingle, with the highlighted clouds, to produce an almost surreal winter wonderland.

Contrasted by the shadowy lower slopes,
and the vast expanse of Leanachan Forest,
this range provides an adventure playground
for winter skiers or summer BMXers.

This view from Spean Bridge Commando Memorial, reminds us too, that these glorious mountains were the training ground for the toughest of the tough…The Commandos.
A landscape to serve so many purposes, but for me, I like it served-“freshly clicked.”
