Gorge at Plodda Falls, with Glen Affric on the horizon.

            Commentary.

Not only does Plodda contain
a precipitous and colourful gorge
but it also has two notable waterfalls.
The Upper Falls are more akin
to a short, but impressive cataract.
The Lower Falls is a full 151-foot sheer,
white-water, single-fall, of water.
The trees, here, are also spectacular,
particularly in Autumn, as shown in this image.
Spruces maintain various shades of green
but the Larches vary from orange
to pale green and even, yellow.
Combined with the yellows and bronze of Birch and bracken,
the colours are resplendent and memorable.
A superb gorge flowing into the legendary, Glen Affric.
