Low cloud and mist clings to the heights of Ben Nevis and is reflected in the still tidal waters of Loch Eil, Lochaber, Inverness-shire, Scotland.

            Poem.

Ethereal bliss.
Mists shroud reality like half-forgotten
images cloud a dream.
A picture akin to Tolkien’s “Middle Earth.”
But this dream………..is real.
In fact, not a sound, not a ripple.
Utter peace, utter serenity,
As if time has momentarily stopped.
Surreal.
Mystical.
Magical.
Then a car engine in the distance
and the “Hogwarts Express” steaming by,
bring us back, back from our dream landscape,
our dreamy moment, to the here and now, and the bubble of unreality is burst
and we move on.
Reality………now there’s a conundrum!!!
