Poem.

Excitement rises with the mist.
Out of a haze, a day is emerging,
like an iridescent butterfly from its pupa.
A day of colour, reflections, mountains and forests.
A day of bays and wakes and splashes.
A day of scenes to gladden the heart
and calm the soul.
A day, for some like me, where clicking shutters
are always trying to capture the magic light,
the magic moments that another God-given day offers.
