Poem.

Glowing embers in an evening sky slowly cool and fade.
Fiery red and orange compliment the turquoise tinges of sea and sky.
The dying, falling sun in the north-west highlights the remote rocks and slopes of Ardnish as the waves gently lap in, on the tranquil, golden coastline of Loch nan Uamh.
Astounding Ardnamurchan silhouettes as a dark arrow
puncturing the Atlantic horizon.
Well-worn, mellow, buff and beige rocks, blackened and yellowed by algae and sprinkled with inter-tidal molluscs complete this dreamy scene.
But a little more than a couple of hours from midnight,
in late May, tranquillity works its magic.
Serenity reigns.
All shall be well.
