Oldtimer in Charter-Diensten - a photo on Flickriver

            Als einer der letzten Europäischen Betreiber setzt die bulgarische Fluggesellschaft European Air Charter noch alte MD82 ein. So machen sich die betagten Jets aus dem Hause McDonnell Douglas nach wie vor allem im Sommer im Charter-Geschäft nützlich, um Urlauber an Europäische Urlaubsziele zu bringen. 

Auch ab Stuttgart brachten die MD82 gelegentlich Urlauber an die bulgarische Schwarzmeerküste. Am 13. August 2022 statteten gleich zwei der amerikanischen Oldtimer der Schwäbischen Landeshauptstadt einen Besuch ab - eine der beiden war die LZ-LDT, die gerade im besten Mittagshochlicht zur Landung auf der Piste 07 ansetzte.
