            A Photowalk, mainly around Lake Rydal in the Lake District: October 2023 #1
To be honest, I’d come with just four targets to photograph – Rydal caves; Loughrigg Fell; the lone tree on Rydal Lake; and the fishing lodge beside the lake. Any other photo opportunities were just a bonus. One big bonus was having time to visit Ashness bridge near Keswick. More about most of those in the coming days. I began my walk at the small Pelter Bridge car park at the Ambleside end of Lake Rydal. The track winds upwards from there toward the Rydal Caves – a short distance away. Along the track from the car park there were some beautiful views of the lake.
