When I go home back from the office I often pass this bird in a field. In the right bottom corner you can see some garbage. This is mostly the cleanest spot in this specific piece of field. The people living close by just dump all their waste and garbage bags and garbage and building rubble in this field. It looks terrible and it is sad to see it daily. Once a year the locals set the field alight as well. Then everything including the rubble burns. As do many fields in the area. Every once a month or two the municipality or Afriforum comes and clean-up the field as best possible. Only for the cycle to repeat...
