Sunrise in the mountains of Sinai - a photo on Flickriver

            Sinai (Jebel Musa), Moses Mountain - a mountain with a height of 2285 m above the sea level It is a jagged mountain range of the naked szaroczerwonego granite. In 2002, the area has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The tradition identifies it with the biblical Mount Sinai (Horeb), where, according to the Old Testament, Jehovah God gave Moses the stone tablets with the Ten Commandments and made a covenant with the nation of Israel.

Synaj (Dżabal Musa), Góra Mojżesza – góra o wysokości 2285 m n.p.m. Jest to poszarpany nagi masyw górski z szaroczerwonego granitu. W 2002 obszar ten został wpisany na listę światowego dziedzictwa UNESCO.
Tradycja utożsamia ją z biblijną górą Synaj (Horeb), gdzie, według Starego Testamentu, Bóg Jahwe przekazał Mojżeszowi kamienne tablice z dziesięciorgiem przykazań i zawarł przymierze z narodem izraelskim.
