            Peyto Lake is on the of the most stunning glacial fed lakes in the Canadian Rockies.  During the summer significant amounts of glacial rock flour flows into the lake from a nearby glacier, and the suspended rock particles give the lake the bright turquoise colour.  The unique shape of the lake is of opinion, some say it's a fox head, some say it's a wolf.  Whatever shape you see, you are looking at one of the most popular spots for tourists and photographers in the Park.
