La cantina

            Chiapas (Mexique) - Cette femme est la cuisinière de la « cantina » du village de la tribu des indiens Lacandons où j’ai passé une journée en août 2018.

Comme vous pouvez le constater, le réfectoire collectif tient plus de la gargote que du restaurant. Mais c’est ça que j’aime en voyage. Il faut reconnaître que les plats proposés ne sont pas d’un grand raffinement et le choix limité : poulet accompagné de riz. Un plat accompagné d’une bière mexicaine, genre « corona » (c’est d’actualité) ou… d’un soda de marque américaine.
Comme je ne suis pas gastronome, je n’ai pas été déçu.
Cette photo a été prise alors que je me balançais dans un hamac attaché entre deux arbres, avec le seul bruit de la rivière et le chant des oiseaux en ambiance. 
Il y a des lieux -comme ce petit village-, qui incitent à une certaine fainéantise. C’est bien la première fois que je fais une photo en restant allongé.

Chiapas (Mexico) - This woman is the cook of the "cantina" of the village of the Lacandon Indian tribe where I spent a day in August 2018.

As you can see, the collective refectory is more like a tavern than a restaurant. But that's what I love when traveling. It must be recognized that the dishes offered are not very sophisticated and the choice is limited: chicken with rice. A dish accompanied by a Mexican beer, like "corona" (this is topical) or ... an American brand soda.
As I am not a gourmet, I have not been disappointed.

This photo was taken while I was swinging in a hammock tied between two trees, with the only sound of the river and birdsong in the background.
There are places - like this small village - which encourage a certain laziness. This is the first time I make a picture remaining lengthened.
