What Photographers Do - when they want a different angle on an overhead sculpture

            The green, green grass riverside at Parramatta was the perfect place from which to photograph the public art on the bridge above: Elizabeth Street Footbridge. This footbridge features an interesting public artwork: 'Wake' by Greg Stonehouse and Susan Milne. While the bridge has won an award it is the sculpture inspired by "the gliding movement of oars" and the "flight of birds" that makes it special.
The person pictured is a special friend of ours and she was replicating something Ian had done some years ago. The result of that photogrpahy, then, is a significant framed work hanging in our photographic gallery.
