            Potsdam "Am Alten Markt"; St. Nikolaikirche. 

Bei der Kirche handelt sich um ein  Zentralbau im klassizistischen Stil, der nach Plänen von Karl Friedrich Schinkel in den Jahren 1830 bis 1837 entstanden ist. Die weit über die Dächer der Stadt emporragende Tambour-kuppel des 77 Meter hohen Gebäudes wurde in der Zeit von 1843 bis 1850 errichtet.
