BRAND NEW Southern Vectis 1741 (HJ73 NFN) an ADL Enviro400MMC which will be one of 7 new double-deckers for the route 1 service.

            1741 is seen here being launched in St James' Square after which it entered service at 3pm. 1746 entered service at lunch time.

Important things to note about the new vehicles:
Cameras instead of wing mirrors
New flooring design instead of wood effect flooring
A very minor livery change with less dark green towards the rear
No two front seats opposite the driver by the door
Comfy high back seats
An extra passenger display for the wheelchair bay
The back rows have 4 seats instead of five
The backwards seats over the wheels can be folded which avoids dirty shoes on seats!
