Ungarisches Parlament /Hungarian Parliament

            Das Parlamentsgebäude, auf Deutsch veraltet Reichstag (ungarisch: Országház; wörtlich: „Landeshaus“), ist der Sitz des ungarischen Parlaments in Budapest. Das 268 Meter lange, direkt am Donauufer gelegene Gebäude ist eines der Wahrzeichen Budapests. Als Vorbild diente der Palace of Westminster, Sitz des britischen Parlaments in London.
Architekt des im neogotischen Stil errichteten Gebäudes ist Imre Steindl. Die Bauzeit dauerte von 1885 bis 1904. 

The Parliament Building, outdated in German as Reichstag (Hungarian: Országház; literally: "State House"), is the seat of the Hungarian Parliament in Budapest. The 268 meter long building, located directly on the banks of the Danube, is one of Budapest's landmarks. The Palace of Westminster, seat of the British Parliament in London, served as a model.
The architect of the building, which was built in the neo-Gothic style, is Imre Steindl. The construction period lasted from 1885 to 1904.
