            This Great Blue Heron struck a pose in profile as if asking me to snap its portrait. These big prehistoric leftovers never cease to impress me. Graceful in flight, unflinching in perseverance, and beautiful in their unique way. Taken at Smith Rock, Central Oregon, USA.
