Yikes! A Giant Pterodactyl! - a photo on Flickriver

            Nope! Not an ancient bird. A pelican about to fold its wings and plunge into the briny harbor to snatch a fish not far beneath the surface. We watched a couple dozen pelicans gliding and plunging a short way from where our coach was parked. Great show!
