'77 Pontiac Grand Prix, Section 8 - a photo on Flickriver

            The lease for the 2-bedroom Section 8 unit 6 doors down from me specified 2 people. Over a period of 2 years, I counted up to 9 people living there at once (that's why it's a bad idea to let property owners rent these homes out as Section 8 without some extensive oversight by the CHA: spot home inspections, landlord penalties, the works). Among the residents was the owner of this car, which carried South Dakota plates for the 2 years he lived there. After an infamous outdoor pot party, numerous 911 calls and a few arrests, we finally got them all out, and it's quiet again.

The landlord lives in Algonquin; told me he doesn't want to send his kids to Chicago schools. Fine, but he should keep tabs on his property occasionally.
