Phyllomedusa At Last! - a photo on Flickriver

One of the very first photos I have taken in Peru, disregard the incorrect camera date its from yesterday not 2014.  Finally my field season for my research has started and I'm in Peru! I have been prepping for the field season for some time, while not relevant to my project I was really hoping to encounter some Phyllomedusa sp as I had never seen any before.  I went out for a night hike yesterday and came across two different species!  This one represents my 1st Phyllomedusa ever!  Well 2nd actually, the first was high in a tree and I couldn't get a good look at it.  These frogs are truly amazing and I can't wait to see more.  This one was a relatively small juvenile and the only one of this species encountered all night, the other species we saw was likely Phyllomedusa camba (tentative ID) and was much more common.
