On A Crisp Winter's Morn - a photo on Flickriver

            Our daytrip to a nearby arboretum for a change of scenery  to enjoy the first rain-free weekend in ages was a complete success, even though it was very crisp, very windy and for me - very early!

We were delighted to see this Great Egret at the lake's edge, hunting with determination for his/her breakfast.  From where I stood the sunlight was hitting the water just right for this dramatic morning shot.
